In order to support the next generation of leading minds, Victims2Victory has developed 12 programs to reinforce the values that are currently being overlooked through our society. These programs and the objectives for each can be found on our website. In addition to this programming, Victims2Victory is advancing our mission to offer additional programming for the youth of our communities.

In doing so, our leadership has developed a series of plays which can be taken to the students of our New York City Schools. Each of these productions will be used to illustrate issues affecting our communities. In doing so, this series of plays will be covering diverse topics like; bullying, abuse,addiction, sex and sexual orientation. Through the production, students will learn how to deal with the issues that face other students in their classrooms and communities, as well as strategies to help them understand their differences and similarities.  National studies have shown a dramatic drop in violence associated with school aged children when they have expanded opportunities to both understand and celebrate the differences that they have with members of their classes and neighborhoods. This decrease in violence has also shown a direct correlation to an increase in academic performance which in turn assists students attend institutes of higher education that otherwise may not have been deemed possible for the student.

In addition to the theatrical productions, workshops will also be provided for families and individuals throughout New York. The workshops will have themes that are based around; empowerment, leadership skills, financial support, time management, Family support and college prep.  These programs will allow families the opportunity to work together at the various workshops to find ways to improve their lifestyles in a group setting. Many times families see themselves as “The only one in the boat” and internalize their problems. Through this programing families will see that they are in fact not only “in it” with many other families, they will also find that they are able to help support other families through their journeys as well. This in turn will lead to a more caring society and a healthier community.
